Stellar's timeless design is meant to be used on a daily basis, with its strong lines serving a functional and aesthetic purpose. Inspired by traditional wooden school chairs from the 1950's, the Stellar reinvents a classic silhouette into a 21st century stackable, monoblock plastic chair. The multi-functional design includes star-like, triangular volumes on the rear and bottom parts to emphasize the load-bearing function of these structures, They form a pleasant aesthetic contrast with the soft and welcoming ergonomics of both seat and backrest.
Conceived for both interior and exterior furnishing, for singles and communities alike, with a cross-fit aesthetic that adjusts to every living style, TOOU objects are designed and built for each one of us. Our aim is to create objects that are durable in their design and aesthetics, and that are never superfluous accessories designed for facile consumption that is dominated by ephemeral trends.
