For small parcel deliveries, shipments to the 48 contiguous states will be made via FedEx Ground, UPS or by other common domestic carriers.

Free Shipping on orders over $100

When your order total is $100 or higher, we'll pay the shipping. Very few brands are excluded from this offer due to manufacturer restrictions, which are noted on the product page.

Orders under $100 have a flat rate of $15 shipping fee.

Some orders for large quantities of large or heavy items (typically 10+ pieces) may not qualify for free shipping. Please reach out for a shipping quote prior to placing your order.

Freight Shipments

Some heavier furniture pieces may ship via LTL freight carrier via standard curbside delivery, which means someone will need to be present to receive the shipment from the delivery truck at the time of the scheduled delivery.

Additional delivery services such as white glove delivery are available for an additional fee upon request. If you are in need of additional delivery services, please reach out to us at service@houseandhold.com prior to placing your order, or immediately after placing your order so we can provide you with a quote. Upgrades to white glove delivery cannot be made once an item is in transit. In some rare instances white glove delivery may not be an option for all products, and all locations.

Please note that LTL shipment transit times can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on the distance and carrier.

Most freight shippers only deliver during regular business hours (9-4pm Monday - Friday).

Please be careful to provide accurate and reliable contact and or shipping information when placing your order at house&hold. Any charges or losses incurred as a result of our inability to reach you, or inaccurate information are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Damages, Defects & Missing Items:

LTL SHIPPING DAMAGES

If your orders is delivered via Freight or LTL Truck Carrier, customers agree to inspect goods before accepting delivery. If the shipment has freight damage or is incorrect, customers must refuse the damaged items and mark the signed delivery document as “DAMAGED”. Please take clear photos of the damaged packaging and damaged goods as these will be required for filing a claim.

Damaged shipments must be refused. No claims will be honored if the customer keeps the damaged item at the time of delivery.

If the shipment is refused prior to inspection for actual damages to the product, you may be subject to re-delivery fees.

Damages claims must be submitted within 48 hours by emailing service@houseandhold.com. Please include your order number and several clear photos of the damaged product and packaging in your email.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you sign for a Freight / LTL shipment without noting the damage or error on the delivery receipt and refusing delivery, you assume liability for all damages or errors and forfeit the right to a claim. All damage claims must be received within 48 hours of your item's arrival. Damage claims reported after 48 hours of your item’s arrival cannot be processed.

If you chose to have your Freight / LTL shipment delivered without signature you waive all rights to a future claim. By having your item delivered without signature upon delivery, you also waive the right to inspect the item at the time of delivery. You also waive the right to file any claim due to loss, damage, or theft that may happen after the delivery occurs. 

SMALL PARCEL SHIPPING DAMAGES 

Damages for small parcel shipments must be reported within 48 hrs by emailing service@houseandhold.com with a minimum of 3 clear digital photos of damaged products and several clear photos of the outer packaging. Claims received after 48 hrs of delivery will not be processed. Customers must keep all packaging materials including the box which the shipment arrived in along with all inside contents. Packaging materials must be kept in the event that an item is damaged or defective. If packaging materials are not kept House&Hold cannot process a damage or defect claim.

DEFECTS

If you receive a product that has an issue other than damage, such as a manufacturer defect, claims must be filed withing 48hrs of delivery. Please keep all packaging materials including the box which the shipment arrived in along with all inside contents. Packaging materials must be kept in the event that an item is defective. If packaging materials are not kept House&Hold cannot process a defect claim.


Our policy is to replace or repair damaged, defective or incorrectly shipped items. If you have received a damaged, defective or incorrect  item that can be remedied with replacement parts or a replacement product, and would prefer a return or refund rather than accept a  replacement, then our normal return policy with 20% restocking/cancelation fee will apply. en our normal return policy with 20% restocking/cancelation fee will apply.
