With melt, Tom Dixon's experiments in the technologically advanced field of vacuum metallisation take on a new twist. Melt is a distorted lighting globe born from our collaboration with Swedish radical design collective FRONT.
Tom Dixon is a restless innovator who works mainly in lighting, accessories and furniture. From his departure point in the early eighties welding salvaged steel into radical furniture, he has constantly reinvented himself through a series of different seasons of design.

- Melt is a beautifully distorted light that creates a mesmerizing melting hot blown glass effect
- Its surface is reminiscent of the interior of a melting glacier or images of deep space
- In 2019 Tom Dixon has enhanced their Melt family with a custom-made Tom Dixon LED ring integrated into the fitting
