Established in 1990 by Peter Bowles, Original BTC began life as an Oxford based home lighting brand and has secured two further lighting brands; heritage marine lighting manufacturer Davey Lighting and LED lighting manufacturer Beadlight, under its umbrella. With a family history steeped in retail, manufacturing and design, Peter designs the company’s products in conjunction with his son Charlie who became Director in 2012.
Traditionally inspired with a modern twist, rise and fall pendants allow you to adjust height and vary lighting effects, making them the ideal choice for dining tables and kitchens. Simply lower the light for intimate dinners or raise for a broader pool of general light.
The fine bone china is very attractive unlit and gives a wonderful ambient light when illuminated. The shades are slipped cast and hand-finished by skilled craftsmen. Manufactured in a factory in the UK dedicated to green manufacturing practices.
