Autumn-ness

Serious Autumn-ness going on, friends! The giant maple trees outside of my house are turning bright yellow and look like enormous pom-poms! I love it and a sure sign of Autumn. Last week we visited the pumpkin patch with the kids and seasonal squash, local apples and even a few persimmons are finding there way in our weekly CSA box.

Today I am inspired by... Autum-ness. So cozy. This is what I am thinking:
candles | autumn apple cider champagne sangria | pears | boozy pie bites

Autumn fancies

Do you decorate for Halloween ... Autumn or Thanksgiving?  We go to the pumpkin patch every year with the kids and I end up getting a few extra gourds and mini pumpkins to decorate with in addition to the pumpkins the kids pick out to carve.

Other than that, I have not done much.  This year, however I am inspired by the typography on pumpkins, especially the first image with the letter H. Classy. And? A wax dipped leaf garland will be hard to pass up... and a fun project to do with the older kids.
