I'm borderline obsessed with &Tradition but understandably why. Right? I'm loving their new pieces, beautiful lines and impeccably designed. And while we do carry a great selection of &Tradition not all items are available in the USA quite yet.

The Fredensborg House by Norm Architects is an obvious thumbs up. The bright whites and light wood is just so forward you know? What's not to love.

We recently sold our home in Portland and have been on the hunt for the new house. And while we were not looking to move to the countryside the most amazing house became available on 3 acres with plenty of space to garden and have chickens that we could not sensibly pass it up. We're so excited!
I did a quick search of what's in the area and came across the most beautiful farm - Working Hands Farm. They have organic raw milk, local honey and fresh eggs in addition to a whole lot of veggies and a CSA! I'm double excited and may go ask if we can be best friends.

The story of Norm's Studio at Kultorvet is real as it is full of breath & beauty. Enough with the piles of samples & papers, right?
"Until a few months ago, we worked in a room that was never completely finished. Because of time constraints, we told ourselves. Piles of documents and samples piled up because the environment allowed it. Slowly came opaqueness insidious.
But now we have started to renovate the old print shop and organize ourselves in the way that demands our creativity. It's about high ceilings, light, air, monochrome simplicity and order. No bunker. This is where we thrive. Here are some pictures from our studio at Kultorvet."

This morning I am inspired by Bar & Co, a restaurant in Helsinki by Interior architect and designer Joanna Laajisto. The space has such lovely continuity without being redundant both in color & elements. And the expert use of white, black, copper, marble and a deep green is spot on, don't you think? I am both surprised and in love with the deeply earthy greens.
I want to visit Bar & Co!
