I'm in love with these interior shots by &Tradition. Grey white light-wood heaven, right? Subtle, perfect, etc.

Blush is the new pink, perhaps. All the pink haters love blush, so it works out. This home with interiors by designer Eva Lilja Löwenhielm hits the spot. Playful and has a good sense of edit to it.
Lots of favorites including some pieces by &Tradition.

I'm totally captivated by Ferm Living's new Fall/Winter '13 Collection, the creative direction on this collection is just amazing. The new collection has a stated feel, mature and composed. It's not as playful as previous sets and I quite appreciate that. Artists Kristina Krogh and Mariken Steen (shown in 1st photo) both have work included for the Fall which is a brilliant move.
A few of my favorites? The new Grid Wallpaper & Hexagon Brass vessels are keepers.
All new Ferm Living Fall/Winter '13 Collection pieces will be available on House&Hold within the next week, here.
These interior still shots by photographer Heidi Lerkenfeldt are fantastic. The spaces remind me of the freshness of unpacking when you move into a new house and all your furniture & objects are haphazardly stacked up and posed for possibility. I'm totally drawing from the white/grey/wood color palette - so buoyant!

We recently sold our house and I've been daydreaming about our new home ..the one in the countryside with the amazing view!
I'm in love with the warmness of soft grey and olive-ish greens in this home, it totally makes the black/white simplicity legit. I'm surprised at how well the two colors harmonize, you know?

The Fredensborg House by Norm Architects is an obvious thumbs up. The bright whites and light wood is just so forward you know? What's not to love.
Other loves:
Shuffle Side Table (in dining room)
Flowerpot VP4 Table Lamp (on desk)

Three styles, 1 sofa and 1 room. Quite the challenge, I can't decide which one I like best. Possibly leaning toward the pink/copper space. Loving the grey elements...
The Mayor Sofa is by &Tradition, though not currently available in the US.
Photography by Line Klein.
I'm intrigued by the moodiness of this space. Black and gold? So intense! And while I am usually not a fan of dark red, it works in this room well enough. Though i'm not quite sure I could pull it off myself.
I love the two black coffee tables.

I've had my eye on Bea Johnson after reading this article in the NY Times 3 years ago. Her story & vision for living is extreme. And I'm fascinated.
Bea has a lifestyle blog called Zero Waste Home which pretty much sums it up. What really intrigues me - beyond the no-garbage thing - is how simply Bea's family live in their home. The white floors (and white everything else) is not just part of a trendy Scandinavian thing. It's for the purpose of simplistic, clean living. So simplified that there is practically nothing to clean, nothing to pick up, no trash to take out...
I want this! Bea just wrote a book called Zero Waste Home, due out early April. I'll be buying this in iBooks as I would not want to add to more book clutter, ha!
