Ah, personality, you know? Anyone else burnt out on even looking at black & white monochrome spaces? I love minimal, I love monochrome but the super graphic, product-placement so-so spaces are just so boring ... and clunky.
Authentic spaces are so cohesive that at first glance you will get a genuine sense of the person, a beautiful reflection. A space should never say "look at all my amazing products" hah, you get the idea.
And so it reminds me of the new AW14 Ferm Living Collection. At first glance I'm not quite sure what's Ferm Living and what's not. But I do get a genuine sense of the collection, the personality. And I love it's warmth and ease .... and stated-ness.

The new ss14 collection of Ferm Living will be in the shop soon. While this collection seems to be the smallest in quite awhile, it packed full of new brass items, kitchen cutting boards & home accessories such as the planters, above.

As I mentioned in my previous post I am totally captivated by Ferm Living's new Fall/Winter '13 Collection .. so much so that I just have to share more!
One of my favorite things about Ferm Living as a brand is that they effortlessly breathe new life into pieces from previous collections, as if to make them new again with their current designs. Nothing feels outdated, such an inspiration to reinvent what you already have while adding in a few new key pieces.
The new Collection includes more items in marble & in new colors (love the shower curtain!), new kitchen items (more stripes!), wallpaper, artwork and a handful of new vessels (brass!)

I'm totally captivated by Ferm Living's new Fall/Winter '13 Collection, the creative direction on this collection is just amazing. The new collection has a stated feel, mature and composed. It's not as playful as previous sets and I quite appreciate that. Artists Kristina Krogh and Mariken Steen (shown in 1st photo) both have work included for the Fall which is a brilliant move.
A few of my favorites? The new Grid Wallpaper & Hexagon Brass vessels are keepers.

Marble is very much an 'it surface/texture right now. But I like it and I think it translate well on many surfaces. Especially when considering your walls, it's certainly unexpected and faux but still, classic.
I've been teeter-tottering with Ferm Living's Marble wallpaper (shown above) "should i wallpaper the kitchen in marble or not?" back & forth, back & forth I go. After having the sample hanging in my kitchen I'm still not quite sure, I'll probably stick with white. But oh so lovely it is!

The Spring/Summer '13 Collection of Ferm Living is my favorite one yet! They've cleverly incorporated new patterns, pieces and colors that are fresh ... yet stay true to their previous collections.

Wow, guys. I am totally loving Ferm Living's new Spring/Summer 2013 collection. It's incredibly playful, casual and lighthearted. I especially think the the new Half Moon pattern is a charmer which is available on a bunch of different objects (shower curtains, pillows & trays). This is my favorite collection yet!
The full collection will be on House&Hold next week for pre-orders and will start shipping this Spring -- so today... all you get is a peak!

While not available in the US, Ferm Living's Holiday collections is fantastic and so totally inspiring. I love the graphic shapes in black and the bold, very Ferm Living angular pattern.
