Wow, 2014 is going to be a magnificent year for Menu!
New products include the Grethe Meyer Pendents,  Afteroom Table & Chair, Kenyon Yeh Wall Table and a handful of accessories, including new designs by Norm.

I don't have an exact date these items will land in the US & be in the shop, until then.... enjoy these beautiful photographs.

The new ss14 collection of Ferm Living will be in the shop soon. While this collection seems to be the smallest in quite awhile, it packed full of new brass items, kitchen cutting boards & home accessories such as the planters, above.

Blush is the new pink, perhaps. All the pink haters love blush, so it works out. This home with interiors by designer Eva Lilja Löwenhielm hits the spot. Playful and has a good sense of edit to it.

Lots of favorites including some pieces by &Tradition.

scandinavian minimal farmhouse

I'm drawn to farmhouses. Living in the countryside myself, I get it. I love the rural, well established quality of this type of space. Add  in Scandinavian minimalism? Count me in. This renovated farmhouse, the home of designer Marie vonLotzbeck & photographer Jacob Kirk and is hot. Marie says she wants to paint the floors but I beg, no!

Inspired by a showroom? Totally. The office/assembly/showroom space of the new Butchers & Bicycles in Copenhagen is exemplified perfection. Simplicity, balance of elements. Edgy/cozy. And? So clearly communicates their brand, their product... their personal style if you would.

You just get it. I think that's how it should be when someone walks into your home. It's you.

I hope everyone's year is off to a great start! I'm slowly inching back in after taking the most wonderful Holiday break, ever.
