This kitchen has amazing lines. The counter & cabinets running against one long wall, open to the eating area. And greatness of the wide plank floor? Yes. Skylight? Seriously.

The kitchen in the Soeborg House is amazing. Minimal, modern but such a rich balance of old. The great wall of wood window frames opening on the the farm-ish backyard and the detailed baseboard molding.  Wow, now.

And the wood rocking chair just happens to be the best accessory.

Here's a blog to keep your eye on, Ollie & Seb's Haus. It's the new blog by Deborah, who I'm sure you've already caught a glimpse of on Instagram as apieceofcake82.

I love the subtlety of this home. All white, grey and cream. It has such finesse, the kitchen in particular.

And, as some have noted, the kitchen is quite reminiscent of that of Downton Abbey. All that is needed is Mrs. Patmore!

I'm intrigued by Stay, a hotel in Copenhagen Denmark. I prefer suites with a full kitchen and space to spread out. If you have children, you know what I mean. Stay is a concept hotel featuring full service loft & apartment style spaces, perfectly Scandinavian Minimalistic.

Perfect, it's on my list.

diy, floating coatrack

 

Really fantastic. Super simple diy for a floating coatrack. Gather a tube, two hooks and a metal cable. Lace the cable through the tube and hang with metal hooks.
