The home of Nikole Herriott of Herriott Grace is exactly as you would imagine it. Full of light and character. Intentional and so very lovely.
Her apartment has some vintage objects, but not too much. A bit of modern, clean & uncluttered, but not sparce. Cottage-y and cabin-ish? You can totally see it. But it's all just right & totally perfect. Don't you think?
I love Nikole's bedroom. The bunk hunk of wood as a footboard and the charcoal wall. So comforting.

I finally understand why my Grandmother had a slight obsession with houseplants ..the pure delight she got from fiddling & fussing over them. Her little friends! And while she never had a Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree, she would have loved the drama of it. Isn't the Fiddle Leaf (in the images above) beautiful?
I've gather four stunning inspirations, showing the big impact of the Fiddle Leaf Fig tree. I will definitely be purchasing a Fiddle friend in the near future!

Spotted & Inspired! I recently spotted the Design House Stockholm Tablo Tray Table used as a bedside table. Isn't that fantastic use of this table? And I am loving the white tray!

It was an exciting moment to discover O&G Studio's daring collection of furniture! It, in one steady breath, completely eclipses the boundaries of what modern design is.
O&G's furniture designs are a reflective, compelling blend of details, American made sustainability and craftsmanship. Designers & makers, Sara and Jonathan have fused their respective backgrounds as a jeweler & set designer and the results are stunning.
Their chairs, stools & tables exhibit traditional designs, beautifully updated and available in an array of trendsetting colors. While I keep waffling on which one is my favorite (too hard to choose!) I do love the Atlantic Table Height Stool -- the detailing on the legs is hot!

So I have been in the need of glasses for a while now - the constant squinting to see things far away (or even across the room) seemed to be getting on the nerves of everyone around me. When a friend told me about Warby Parker it just made sense to me, spurred me to go get an eye test (20/30 with a slight astigmatism... not too bad really), and start my free 5 day at-home try on via Warby Parker. It was sooooo simple - like adding products to any shopping cart - and then with a quick checkout the set of 5 glasses was at my door in literally 2 days. I just got them and was very impressed with the company's attention to detail and presentation... everything about it was pleasing - so I thought I would share the packaging and the selection of glasses I chose to test out. Did I mention that everything about the home try-on is free: shipping and return shipping all there nicely packaged for ease of use. Also, Warby Parker runs on a TOMS shoe sort of program where they give a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair bought - good to be charitable!
Excited to pick a pair and start seeing a bit better - watch out street signs I will soon be able to read you...

Pinterest, as you already know is a powerhouse of inspiration and creativity! It has completely changed the way ideas, projects and images are searched for and shared. Brilliant.
I have a few favorite people I follow on Pinterest that share similar aesthetics, interest, color paletters or find interesting stuff that I would perhaps not see otherwise!
This week my 'Pinner of the week is one of my favorites: Griottes, a French Food & Lifestyle photographer, Graphic Designer & maker of sweet little things. She also has a blog -- such a creative person! Above are some of her 'pins that I've re-pinned.

I hope you have a snappy, happy weekend! I think we're going to have a picnic at a lake. Sounds nice, it's suppose to be sun-shining in Portland....
