I really do not encourage anyone to match their art to their decor. It is generally a bad idea to be so literal!
But, art always calls to mind a particular color, shape or feeling -- Hot pink, lines & floating -- that is easily associated with objects that are familiar. And knowing the black dots in the piece above are not dots, but birds (!) allows you to consider the lines as one shape.... oh, the movement! So cool.
