Additional Rights for California Residents
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA (the “CCPA”), gives California residents rights beyond the nationwide baseline above.
Note on Applicability: This section is provided regardless of whether we have independently confirmed that the CCPA’s statutory thresholds apply to us.
- Right to know the specific categories and sources of personal data we collect, and our purposes for collecting it.
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data, including for cross-context behavioral advertising, and out of automated decision-making technology (ADMT) that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
- Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
Enforcement Context (informational, not a promise on our part): California is the only state on this list with a private right of action allowing consumers to sue directly over certain data breaches, and it has a dedicated regulator — the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) — that has actively pursued businesses over non-functional opt-out mechanisms.
