Copper is created by exploding a thin layer of pure metal onto the surface of a polycarbonate globe. Complimentary forms are created in the trademark mirrored copper, allowing clusters to be formed, lower ceilings to be illuminated or narrow corridors to be colonized by the Copper family.
Tom Dixon is a restless innovator who works mainly in lighting, accessories and furniture. From his departure point in the early eighties welding salvaged steel into radical furniture, he has constantly reinvented himself through a series of different seasons of design.
