Søren Rose, the designer from Denmark, was given the task of designing the Walker Lamp Modern Wall Sconces for The Silo, which was previously a grain tower in Copenhagen now converted to apartments and public space. This project is the main part of the scheme to urbanize the Nordhavnen, the waterfront part of the city. The Silo has 17 storeys, each varying in size to create 40 apartments with unique proportions (one of them is owned by Bjarne Hansen, a founder of MENU). Each apartment is different from the others, except for the brass Walker Lamp which is fitted to all.
