Menu Phare Portable LED Lamp
The Phare Lamp, designed for the apartment at address No.50, Le Courbusier’s ‘Cité Radieuse’, Marseille, derives its aesthetics from the concept that a completely recyclable object would be a multi-use everyday pal. It is something enhances the everyday comfort of inhabitants and fit with the style of the landmark.
The flat roof of the building, while satisfying social requirements, does not include built-in lights; this is where the Phare lamp comes in: It is portable and lightweight - the materials and design are inspired by the roof construction of Cité Radieuse. It is made of aluminum to be light, durable, and completely recyclable. The spherical shade of the lamp is constructed using injected plastic, which offers everlasting durability and protection for both the user and lamp. The design results after everything but the essential parts are reduced, making sure there isn't too much added. By getting rid of decorative and redundant elements, the lamp derives its formal language through function only.
The Phare Modern Table Lamps are handy everyday pals that can be hung or placed freely or even taken outside if the weather permits. Being a versatile lamp, the Phare is not made to be used in a single spot only, whether it is hanging or standing. Its simple and tasteful construction makes it suitable for every residence, from a modern urban flat to Le Corbusier’s building. As opposed to products that become obsolete after a fixed time, the Phare is there to serve you for a very long time.
