Audo New Norm Low Bowl - 5 inch

Audo and Norm Architects collaborated with Cofoco, a restaurant in Copenhagen, to produce something amazing in 2010. The restaurant expresses everything we identify as Nordic, including materials, glasses, dishes, chairs, windows, lamps, colours, and moods.

All of them piece together to create a complicated and inspiring urban feel that is also rough and rural at the same time. It is rustic, but simplistic too.

Norm Architects created a special dinnerware series to produce the perfect foundation to support this urban romance. It was inspired by Vilhelm Hammershoi, one of the most popular painters from Denmark, as well as by the pristine and crisp Nordic winds, which contributed immensely to the colour scheme. Another thing to note is that the colours used in the New Norm Dinnerware were selected carefully to emphasize and match the Nordic dishes on the menu.
