The Tailor Sofa, designed by Rui Alves from Portugal, is inspired by the designer's grandfather's most liked tailor shop. Rui recalls the impression of tailors bending over work tables and grey suits hanging on ancient wooden hangers. He has made the Tailor Sofa to be original and display everything, similar to that tailor shop. "I wanted to display everything from the gorgeous oak wood to the structure. I wanted to avoid hiding anything, as is the norm with sofa design. The sofa is made to be viewed from all angles", says Rui. It is prominently beautiful when viewed from the rear. With an airy and light look, the wooden frame supports the sofa's shapely upholstered section for a practical and comfortable sofa suitable for use every day.

The upholstery is covered in foam shell and the frame is constructed using oak wood. The detail present in the upholstery and wood makes this modern living room seating look handmade. The wooden joints are designed meticulously to follow the sofa's round shape.
