The first ever Audo chair was introduced in 2013. This chair, which is simple and beautiful with four legs, was designed by Afteroom - a design studio based in Stockholm. It was one of the most popular products from us that's part of the Spring collection in 2013. As a result, in Fall 2014, we're introducing another chair to the modern bar & counter stools collection: The Afteroom Counter Stool. This features the same clean and innovative design of the Afterroom but has longer legs.
The height of the Afteroom Counter Stool makes it suitable for the front row seats of a bar, as an additional stool in the kitchen, a chair in the waiting room of office, or part of the Scandinavian dining room furniture. The product is durable, yet lightweight and comfortable. Chen-Yen Wei and Hung-Ming-Chen were inspired by an interest in proportions, forms, senses, cultures, and materials. They take the definition of simplistic design to further heights with a non-compromising and vivid aesthetic vision.
