Do you decorate for Halloween ... Autumn or Thanksgiving? We always go to the pumpkin patch every year with the kids and I end up getting a few extra gourds and mini pumpkins to decorate with in addition to the pumpkins the kids pick out to carve.
Coziness is at the top of my list, always. Coziness is born from layering objects, colors and texture in a cohesive, personal way. The space tells a story and doesn't look like it all came out of the same box... or Ikea catalog.
Wow, isn't this home beautiful? Perhaps perfect, really. It meets all the criteria: not too trendy, not too classic. Wide open space, great light. Cozy but not crowded. Beautiful floors & perfectly white walls.
I'm not quite used to so much so much mis-matched-ness, but the home of the blogger AprillAprill is just so charming and comfortable. And really, she uses color in such an intriguing way. So lovely!
