The studio of Danish artist Tenka Gammelgaard is a masterpiece of it's own. It's artfully packed to the brim with interesting objects, lighting, supplies and curios. Plus the undeniable black & white color palette! Tenka's art is a reflection of her studio (or, I'm sure, vice versa) my favorite pieces being her costume drawings, so beautiful!

Wow, really now. Such incredible composition for Residence Magazine styled by Lotta Agaton and photographed by Mikkel Mortensen. Objects, art, color, everything.

So conversational, so much movement and thought -- all home deco should inspire to translate this way in a real life, habitable sort of way.

I love the ease of the Hamlin Collection by truemodern, now available on House&Hold. The Hamlin Collection has low arms, a wide, causal seat and a true sense of leisure. We ordered the One Arm Sofa with Chaise in Charcoal for our family room (should be arriving on Friday, so excited!) and the position of the chaise (on the left) will allow for a nice open flow between the rooms.

It's early Summer and we're just now starting to venture out & spend evenings outside, thankful for the warm weather! A few details that inspire me. Just simple stuff.

Serious icecream amazingness: caramelized banana & peanut butter icecream with almond flour waffle cones. Not only does this sound yummy to just about everyone but it's a homerun for me. My family does not eat sugar, gluten, grains, starch or milk which just about eliminates any chance the warm summer day icecream cone.

Ah-ha! This brilliant recipe from the beautiful blog Roost gives hope, excitement, a treat! My kids will surely thank me... Now off to buy a waffle cone iron.

The Demi Lamp designed by Mattias Stenberg for Design House Stockholm is a show stopper, so intriguing and unusual. Stenberg has fused two pieces of traditionally crafted glass with a high-tech sort of light source in the middle.

“I wanted to find a new way to highlight the qualities of mouth-blown glass, and ironically the best way was to combine it with a fairly high-tech light source. Traditional glass products like formal stemware and art glass are kept standing on the shelf for most of the year. I didn't want to do that, I wanted to create a product that you can use every day.” -Mattias Stenberg

Such an intriguing color palette, don't you think? Master interior stylist Susanna Vento adds a healthy jolt of color to an aesthetic that most often favors black & white. And yet it's still perfectly minimal.

The colors are such a thoughtful extension of the most favorable objects in each space -- copper pieces, green plants and such.
