The Ordinary House, which I fell in love with when I found it on the blog Nordic Design was designed by the Swedish Firm, In Praise of Shadows. While located in Sweden, this home could easily be found in the countryside outside of where I live in Portland, OR.
The exterior of this home has an interesting contour yet has a very familiar quality to it. Lived in & barn-ish. I like that and love how it blends in with it's surroundings in the woodsy, lightly landscaped location.
And? The exterior is dark, just like I was talking about last week.
Next up: the interior of this home. It's a stunner.
